Established in 1997, Intermarket Properties is an award-winning Toronto-based real estate development and management company that provides services via three (3) key business units: Development, Investment, and Advisory & Consulting. Intermarket also has extensive experience in providing a wide range of real estate services to both private and public sector clients.
Meet the Real Estate professionals on the Team
Mark Kindrachuk
President and founder of Intermarket Properties and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Intermarket; and focuses on the acquisition, development, and consulting activities of the firm. Mr. Kindrachuk has over forty (40) years of real estate experience and prior to founding Intermarket, was the Senior Vice President for First Gulf Development Corporation. Mr. Kindrachuk was previously responsible for Asset and Development Management at CN Real Estate and developed a number of large-scale projects across Canada. While at CN Real Estate, Mr. Kindrachuk also managed a high-profile UN Development Program project in Buenos Aires, Argentina that was financed by the World Bank. Mr. Kindrachuk has extensive experience in land use approvals, servicing, and construction; and is a Governor of the Toronto Chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Mr. Kindrachuk has a Masters’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Houston and an undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University.
Sandy Acchione
Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Intermarket Properties. Responsible for accounting and reporting functions; as well as acquisition and development activities. Mr. Acchione has over forty (40) years of real estate experience prior to joining Intermarket, Mr. Acchione worked as an accountant at Price Waterhouse Coopers; and previously held senior management positions at Marathon Realty, CN Real Estate and Canada Lands Company. Mr. Acchione has a strong financial background combined with extensive experience in servicing, construction; as well as real estate management and operations. Mr. Acchione has a BA (Honours) from York University; and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Peter Markin
Director of Planning & Development at Intermarket Properties and responsible for managing consultants, entitlements, approvals, construction and tenant fit-ups. Mr. Markin draws on 15+ years of experience in a wide range of disciplines: property and land development, architecture, planning, urban design, construction and property management. Mr. Markin holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Waterloo.
Xavier Kindrachuk
Development Manager at Intermarket Properties, Xavier is responsible for managing the development process including financing analysis, acquisition, deal structuring, construction, marketing, and leasing for the buildings owned by Intermarket. Mr. Kindrachuk has a real estate finance and analytical background while previously working at both CBRE and the Royal Bank of Canada. Mr. Kindrachuk has previous experience within a variety of industries including wealth management, sales, and insurance. Mr. Kindrachuk has a BA (Honours) from Queen’s University.
CT Pech
Project Manager at Intermarket Properties, Mr. Pech is responsible for combining the day-to-day roles of a Construction Project Manager and Construction Estimator, balancing a wide range of responsibilities to greatly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Intermarket’s projects. Mr. Pech brings over 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager and Construction Estimator from a local General Contractor and is a graduate from the Conestoga College Architectural Construction Engineering Technology program.
