About The Project
Intermarket was retained by the Toronto Community Housing Corp (TCHC) consultant team to act as an interface between the project team and the private sector real estate community for the redevelopment of one of the largest residential projects in Canada.
Intermarket assisted in creating a proposal call process that would appeal to the private sector and would result in the re-development of a 70-acre downtown site that contains over 10,000 residential rental units.
Through coordinated meetings between the Regent Park consultant team and developers, interest and participation in the re-development concluded in a successful transition from the public to the private sector.
The Regent Park re-development project has been constructed by private sector developers and has won numerous design awards.
